As we are based in Atlanta, we aim to address the local community’s problems in Atlanta, GA. I brainstormed various ideas that could positively impact the social well-being of the people living in Atlanta, as well as broader global solutions. We also discussed the topics we should avoid to stand out and be innovative.
After coming up with a lot of possible ideas, we knew that education in Atlanta has a big cognitive gap between before college and after college.
Before entering college, most teenagers have little knowledge about their future careers due to the lack of a well-structured program or courses in the education system that introduce them to possible career pathways. Teenagers are often influenced by their parents' occupations and the people in their immediate environment.

Some high schoolers who just graduated are confident in the direction they want to take in life. However, a significant number of young adults are not quite sure what their interests or skills are, and may end up either conforming to their parents' expectations or pursuing a college education only to later realize it may not be the right fit for them.

Most students who choose majors based on external extrinsic motivation tend to be generally dissatisfied and feel like they don’t belong.

We researched the impact of social media on teenagers and found that the younger generation enjoys sharing their personality traits on social media. Personality assessments can be used as a tool to help high schoolers and adults explore their interests, strengths, and preferences when considering a career path.
